A tip for claustrophobes: When you approach a bridge tunnel, and there's a little parking lot with like an office at each side, pull in and go talk to them. In many instances, they have officers inside to drive you and your vehicle to the other side, and then pull into the parking lot there and let you be on your way.
I am looking for a way to avoid tunnels because I'm looking to buy a mobile home, and trying to find the cheapest way to transport it, but I saw all these comments and just thought I could help. Good luck!
