In Germany (and perhaps even whole Europe), every gas station is obliged to report their up-to-date gas prices to a federal agency (more details at https://www.bundeskartellamt.de/DE/Wirtschaftsbereiche/Mineral%C3%B6l/MTS-Kraftstoffe/Verbraucher/verbraucher_node.html), which is accessible through a multitude of service providers (including Tankerkönig [https://www.tankerkoenig.de/], which provides an easy-to-use REST API). It would be cool if these data could be integrated to Waze to show gas station prices.
I tried to write a script that inserts gas price data into Waze, but got blocked by the fact that, first, Waze doesn't show gas station prices in Germany at all (https://support.google.com/waze/thread/120160000?hl=en) and, second, there doesn't seem to be an API to report gas prices.
Would be cool if this could be addressed soon! I'd be happy to support.
