    I really wish the "select alternate route" option was honored until the end, or at least that changes to it would have to be approved instead of made without consent.

    When Waze showed me two different alternate scenic routes to take a more direct straight line AND avoid the busy and ugly interstate with desperate angry drivers on a Sunday, i was so happy to see a couple of lakes and a river and cute towns on the way. Turns out all it took was one gas stop for the AI to decide to still pick the route i had originally declined in favor of the route that i had happily selected "yes" for after it telling me "this route is 5 minutes longer are you sure??" plus me saying "no, thank you" to it wanting to change it a couple of times while driving. Ended up not seeing the lake and still being home a bit over 5 minutes later anyway due to traffic expectedly appearing on the interstate at times and such.
