    I'm a long time (12 years) waze user. In the past three months I have driven two 900-mile trips, where I had a specific route in mind. After selecting the route, I have had waze reroute me multiple times, including to way points (e.g. a coffee shop).

    I'm pretty certain that waze is now rerouting without asking because I haven't seen a reroute notification for months. Perhaps I was busy (driving) but it's unlikely since I've experienced this multiple times and so did my wife while sitting next to me also with waze running.

    It's critical to be able to opt-in on rerouting, and it's critical to be able to opt-in on automatically rerouting if I don't press the approval option.
