Turn pothole reports into real repairs — automatically alert local road crews!
Waze already lets drivers report potholes, but right now those reports only warn other drivers — they don’t fix the problem. If 2–3 different drivers report a pothole in the same spot within 24–48 hours, Waze could automatically create a verified pothole alert and share it with the local road department through Waze for Cities, email, or an API.
This would help drivers get potholes fixed faster, saving their cars from damage and making roads safer. Cities would save time and money by eliminating the need to track every 311 call manually. Waze would become not just a navigation tool, but a platform that improves real roads and shows users that their reports make a difference.
