    Suggestion: Option to set alert distance for events on the route

    Currently, alerts for speed cameras, police, and speed bumps are shown too close to the actual point. I would like to suggest that Waze allow users to configure the distance in advance for these alerts (for example: 500m, 1km, 2km).

    Benefits:

    More reaction time and safer speed adjustment.

    Prevents sudden braking right on top of the radar or obstacle.

    Improves user experience, especially on highways and fast roads.

    This customization would be very useful for drivers, particularly on long-distance routes.

    Atualmente, os avisos de radares, polícia e quebra-molas aparecem muito próximos do ponto em questão. Gostaria de sugerir que o aplicativo permita ao usuário configurar a distância de antecedência dos alertas (por exemplo, 500 m, 1 km, 2 km).
    Isso traria as seguintes vantagens:

    Maior tempo de reação e segurança ao reduzir a velocidade.

    Evita frenagens bruscas em cima do radar ou obstáculo.

    Melhor experiência para motoristas em vias rápidas e rodovias.

    Essa personalização seria especialmente útil em estradas, onde 1 km é uma distância adequada para se preparar.
