    Longtime user of Waze -- like from back in 2011 or 2012.

    This is absolutely essential for safe driving.

    As I detailed in my post to Waze's Discuss forum:
    * Because I am unable to select an HOV route while driving via the CarPlay interface,
    * If I happen to be legally driving the HOV lane because I have a passenger
    * When Waze detects I'm in that HOV lane, it tells me to move over to the normal lanes both:
    (a) by visually indicating on the CarPlay interface changing the route even though I'm legally allowed to drive the HOV lane, and
    (b) audibly interrupting whatever I'm listening to.

    This distracts me from my driving again and again and again -- every time there's an opportunity to move from the HOV lane to the normal lanes.

    That's extremely unsafe.

    Please please please Waze give us the ability on the CarPlay interface to indicate that we're legally allowed to drive the HOV lane for a particular route.
