    A dedicated preferences editor would be a great addition for advanced users. While most people are fine with the default interface, power users often want more control over navigation behavior, alerts, and display settings without manually editing configuration files. Having an official UI for these options could make customization safer and more accessible while reducing the risk of configuration errors.
