Have a server that can accept emergency vehicle GPS data and vehicle status (in route or on scene) from agencies and software systems with this information. Of course, there would be a vetting process and authentication procedures. Data to be supplied would be lat/lng, altitude, speed, heading, stays, type of responding resource such as "Law", "EMS", "Fire", "Rescue" or "Other" and optionally GPS accuracy. This should be free to emergency agencies or emergency systems software providers. The current solution of paying a monthly fee for a device on the apparatus doesn't work. This data already exists and can be shared with WAZE at no cost.
