Many cities around the world (including the one I live - São Paulo, SP - Brazil) have some restricted areas, defined by type of vehicle and/or day of week/time of day.
São Paulo for example has a restriction for cars depending on its final plaque lic. number. Between 7-10 am and 5-8pm cars with plaque numbers ending in 1 or 2 on Mondays, 3 and 4 on Tuesdays, 5 and 6 on Wednesdays, 7 and 8 on Thurdays and 9 and 0 on Fridays can't run in certains areas of the city (that's called "Rodízio"). It would be great to be able to inform the car's plaque # and the route would automatically avoid non-traffic allowed streets during the restriction periods.
The same feature could be used in weekly / daily events, like marathons, street fairs and areas where traffic is not allowed only during part of the day / day(s) of the week.
