With the amount of data now collected over the years, it would be great to be able to provide predictability beyond the nice "Find the best time to leave" feature. Machine-learning at its best!
I live in the Bay area and have a daily two-hour commute. I have decided to work remotely one day a week. Which day is the best for me to pick depending on several parameters, eg time of the day, holiday, weather, etc? It seems to me that Wednesdays and Thursdays are the worst on my commute but is it supported by the data?Can I use ML to predict if Thursday or Wednesday of next week, or two or three weeks from now, is the best day for me to work closer to home?
I could imagine a function where one could ask which is the best day of a given month to work remotely and avoid traffic.
