Voice activated map chat
Voice activated map chat. I get notifications that there is an object in the road. But I'm on a six-lane highway. Where is that object. Voice activated map chat would make it easy to be more specific and identifying the object. Just as an example.

Give reason for suggested route change.
- Have tone or spoken message that there is a suggested route change to draw your attention to something on the screen.
- Have the message stay on screen until acknowledged.
- Have default to stay on selected route, if reason is just quicker by a few minutes or shorter.
- Only change route IF traffic is blocked or significant delay due to accident or some other non normal event.

Partner with TV and radio so that they can report what the Wazers are posting.
My area has poor traffic reporting. I think it would to everyone's advantage if radio and tv stations would report directly from what Waze is having posted. They could incorporate this much the same as a weather report.

Android Auto Search Navigation is clunky
When searching and entering in text (from phone or car), once you have presented a list of possibilities, in order to select one I have to press “Up” to get out of the text entry; this then selects the “task bar” so I press “Right” to get back to Waze; and then I have to dial down to the desired item before finally clicking on it. At the very least “Up” should exit the text entry and jump immediately to the first item on your list. Even better, something like “Down” could exit the text entry and automatically select the…

Alerta de assalto
Bom dia.
Utilizo o waze na cidade de São Paulo/Brasil. Aqui diariamente presenciamos, no trânsito, vários assaltos em carros parados no trânsito intenso. Dessa forma, sugiro haver um alerta para assalto. Assim, as pessoas poderiam alertar outras que em determinada via ocorreu um assalto. As pessoas poderiam evitar a via ou prestar muito mais atenção na movimentação. Além disso, as próprias emissoras de TV que mostram o trânsito pela manhã, usando o waze, poderiam mostrar esses alertas, o que daria mais publicidade para o fato, podendo chegar até mesmo aos policiais na região.

Is there any way when you change the route an reroute us you could tell us why so we can make a choice as what to do. I’ve been rerouted to some really sketchy roads and when driving alone it can be a bit scary.

Android auto search results too dark
When searching in Android auto, the result is shown on the map where the rest of it is dimmed. When it's sunny, it's hard to read the rest of the map to tell whether it's the right spot.

Navigation does not default to the closest result
For example, if I'm looking for a local credit union I can tell Waze to search for it, but the result may be something a thousand miles away in New York instead of something in my own county. If I look for a restaurant it may gave me the corporate office in another state instead of one 5 miles away. The problem is exacerbated with the voice dictation system which blocks the results with the keyboard even though you're using voice dictation.
