Time based speed limits
Speed limits are not always a fixed ones. For example , roads around the schools have a speed limit of 30 kmph during the morning and evening hours. Whereas this limit is not valid for Sundays and during the rest of hours in a day.

Add type "Boom Barrier" to permanent hazard
https://i.imgur.com/T05sm8V.png
In my country (but I think everywhere) there are a lot of barriers which are placed in different areas like PLR, restricted areas, private areas, .. This barriers are opened for locals or by different type of card/transmitters. It's very convenient when user or taxi driver see this permanent hazard on his road. I think it's not difficult to add this type to current PH structure.
In my country there ate not "toll booth"-es and we use this type (they are the same on the picture) but it's not convenient for people who use another TTS and language in…233 votesThanks for your feedback. Filter GPS tracks by vehicle type: private, taxi, motorcycle
The GPS layer should have checkmarks where we could choose the vehicle type of the GPS tracks we want to see.
This would be great for determining what type of vehicle is using a particular road, which in turn would be useful for deciding what road restrictions a road should have.85 votesThanks for your feedback. Add “Pedestrian Crossing Zone” Warning in WME Map Editor
💡 Idea Description:
I suggest adding a new warning option in the WME Map Editor named “Pedestrian Crossing Zone” to be used in areas with frequent pedestrian movement, such as:
Local markets and shopping centers
Hospitals and medical facilities
Schools and universities
Parks and recreational areas
In reality, there are visible pedestrian crossing signs in these places, but this warning option does not currently exist in WME. As a result, drivers are not alerted to slow down or pay attention to crossing pedestrians in these locations.
🚗 Importance of the Suggestion:
Adding this warning will help drivers to:
Reduce speed…

Partners polygon layer
Hello,
Thanks to the Waze for Cities program, we are happy to have more and more partners, either for road management (Connected Citizens) or for event management (Global Event Partners).
For those who do not know the details, you should know that a partner benefits from one or more polygons that characterize their rights area (data flows to or from Waze, closures, MTE).
The community being very involved, and always on the lookout for modifications to be made in WME, or closures to be programmed, it often happens that our closures or our editions conflict with their closures.
It is…48 votesThanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Easier way for cutting a segment
There are a lot of occasions where the properties of a road (eg speed) changes within the same segment. Currently the only way to cut segments is to add a road with a junction on the spot where one wants to split the original segment and immediately remove the added road.
This is rather cumbersome/overkill and could lead into incorrect data.
Other map reporting tools have a segment split option within a simple right hand mouse click and it would be nice if a more simple way would be available in WME too.41 votesThanks for your feedback. Add new layer with Road Signs (generated from Street View)
Use AI models to identify Road Signs from existing Street View images, and surface them in WME as a new layer.
Road sign examples:
- Speed limits
- Stop/Give way
- No entry
- Prohibited turns
- Sharp bends
- Lanes mergingIdeally this new layer should come with sub-layers and allow editors to show/hide on demand (similar to how Hazards currently appear in WME). Sub-layers could be groups - for example:
- Warnings
- Speed limits
- Orders

MTE Temporary parking lots
Very often during large events, temporary parking lots are created for the duration of the event, it would be very useful to be able to create in the WME these parking lots only for the duration of the event.
It is not possible to do this now because we have to wait for the map update.33 votesThanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Filter Segment Closures
It would be great to have the option to filter closures on a segment. e.g. Hide all finished by default, only display active closures, only display upcoming closures etc
