    I just read a note of some tourists (great old) in Rio de Janeiro who came to risk area and a lady was killed. "http://cnnespanol.cnn.com/2015/10/06/una-mujer-muere-a-tiros-al-entrar-por-error-en-una-favela-de-rio-de-janeiro/"

    So, I propose that Waze implement color and voice alerts, according to the area where it is located the place we search.

    Each city has identified the districts or dangerous places, where it´s recommended to avoid.

    Example:
    Blue: Tourist area
    Red: Danger Zone
    Yellow: Caution location
    Orange: Crowded places
    etc...

    And in the search highlight the color of the options presented.

    The route can handle sections colors that crosses the route.

    I hope my proposal will help in some way.
