As a Lyft driver, I want to see the address in my GPS so I know what to look for on a building or residence.
The distance # (1000ft, etc) takes up a large portion of the screen. I don't think there's any use for a visual reference to the number of ft distance between me and my destination. The address is indecipherably small.
Between the step-by-step directions, and the visual map, and the audio, there is little need to look back and actually read the distance. What is needed is a reminder of the address number, which is not reinforced through the audio voice. After the assistance of WAZE or another GPS, the strongest and most direct locator is the eye to the address.
I want to quickly glance at Waze, see my destination, and look back on the road.
