Waze could advise me that although it is recommending the quickest route, that this route is xx miles longer but yy minutes quicker than the shortest route. I can select "It's OK" to continue or "shorter route" to choose the shorter, slightly longer route.

I propose a “paid-for” Waze Pro or Commuter Client that offers advanced features such as:
    1. Regular and multiple "Commuter Routes" from home to your work destination (and back) that Waze automatically checks for problems on your routes and gives an "all-clear" but does not give voice directions unless a reroute (that is not another regular commuter route) triggers (see 2. below)
    2. Ability to reroute ONLY if a user specified time improvement (minutes or percent of total commute time) is available and limited to a user specified maximum additional miles. For commuter-route reroutes, Waze first suggests an another commuter-route (still with no additional voice guidance). Voice guidance would trigger only if the user on the commuter-route accepts a suggested reroute that is an entirely new route (not one of the other regular commuter-routes). The user would be able to name each of their regular commuter-routes such as “2 South to Glendale”, “110S all the way in, “2 South to 5 South to Stadium Way”. These would be created and named by the user themselves. They could create as many as they care to.
    3. Ability for users to turn off certain alerts for certain stretches of road. There are trucks always parked and "sleeping" along the side of this major freeway. It would be nice to teach Waze to silence that specific alert for that area.
    4. Gas fill-up reminder and stop along commuter route feature. Waze will calculate the elapsed mileage from the previous fill-up (assuming it will have to have been on all the time) and at the start of the commute will ask if the user wants to fill-up on the way. User simply responds with "yes" and Waze creates a stop along the route (or close to the route as specified by user eg. "less than one mile off route, and less than 2 minutes off route" and the lowest cost gas.

I love Waze but its time to take it to the next level!
