    Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to May be considered, since we finalized our plans for 2025 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

    We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.

    In Brazil, many cellphones are stolen from inside the cars while waze is open, which allows criminals to have full access to other apps.
    It would be nice if there was a way for waze to run on the locked screen, so that we can still see the map, but the phone would have to be unlocked in order to access anything else.
