Motorists must exercise caution and reduce speed on roads frequented by horse riders, where sharing the road with vehicular traffic is common. These areas may comprise only segments of a roadway, often serving as passages for riders and their horses to access nearby nature trails.

The failure to slow down poses a grave danger to riders when vehicles pass by at excessive speeds. Such reckless behavior significantly heightens the risk of severe and catastrophic accidents involving riders, horses, and motorists alike.
