Waze tried to kill me by sending me down a road that it was National Speed Limit because it thought it would be faster than the 50 mph dual carriageway. The safe speed on that road was 25 mph so it took me a lot longer as well as being terrifying. There was nowhere to turn around so I had to keep going.

I have one particular route I take once a month (and the return journey). I hate the route Waze tells me to take, but I want to be able to have a live ETA and hazard warnings. The only way I have found to make it take the route I want is to set my destination as a point along the route, get there, park the car and then set a new route to the final destination. I want to be able to tell it "I am going to A to Z *via X*".

If I add "X" as a stop, it stops sharing my journey when I get there so I have to park the car anyway to re-share my journey.

(As for why I hate the route it gives me, it sends me along a dangerous, narrow, winding road with steep edges and no barriers. The speed limit there is 60 mph but that is the "default" for country roads where the government hasn't bothered to assess what the speed limit should be. Waze prioritises it because it thinks "60 mph" is faster than the 50 mph dual carriageway, but the safe speed on that road is more like 25 mph. You still get idiots trying to kill you and themselves by driving at 60 mph. I took that route the first time I used Waze and will never again but it keeps telling me to.)
