    I have thought this ever since satnav became a thing; I don't need it to talk to me, I just want to know WHEN to look at the screen. A single ding at 500 meters, and one at 100 meters would be absolutely perfect.
    That way my music/calls/podcast doesn't get hampered as much (no need to stop/mute them either, if that's an option) but at least I don't miss turns. Thanks!
