    I would love to see a new Waze feature that allows users to customize their vehicle icon using their own car.

    Currently, Waze offers a selection of predefined vehicle icons, but many drivers would enjoy seeing a representation of their actual car while navigating.

    For example, I drive a 2025 Volkswagen Tiguan, and it would be great to be able to upload a simple top-down image of my car and use it as my navigation icon.

    The feature could work in a simple and safe way:

    Allow users to upload an image from their phone.
    Automatically crop and resize it to the required format.
    Display it as the vehicle icon on the map.
    Optionally provide a simple editor to remove the background and adjust the image.
    Offer a small library of official car models as an alternative for users who don't want to upload an image.
    Keep the feature entirely optional.

    This would make Waze feel much more personal and fun, while also opening the door to a huge variety of cars, motorcycles and other vehicles.

    It could even become a community feature, where users could create and share vehicle designs.

    I think this would be a relatively simple way to add a lot more personalization to Waze and make the driving experience more enjoyable.

    Please consider adding customizable vehicle icons to Waze! 🚗❤️
