    How is this not a basic part of the app from day 1? I just did the same thing - reported a police trap by mistake.

    If I understand this, I agree. I wanted to report police activity after I got to work since it's not safe to try doing so while driving. I was not "allowed" to report it because I had lost GPS signal; the options wasn't there when I tapped the appropriate intersection and tapping the "target" brought back the report icon, but it wouldn't allow me to do anything.
