It would be nice to be able to toggle individual alerts on and off. We get constant "vehicle on shoulder" alerts that interrupt what is playing on the radio. Either make the alert shorter, or please allow me to disable that alert.

I also drive with only alerts on during daily commute because the constant directional information interrupts what is on the radio telling me turns I already know. Though police and objects on the road are nice to know, what I really need to know is when I should take a different route due to traffic other than the beep that sounds when I miss the turn or exit. I do not always need to know where to turn in the normal route, but always find out too late that I should have deviated.
