second thought ... as both my wife and I drive the car and either of us might be the one to fill it up, a vehicle would need to be 'shared' across accounts so accurate data would be kept...

it would be great to add this ... it would encourage me to report/update gas prices when I'm filling up as well if there's a benefit to me...

GPS already knows when I've stopped at a gas station and prompts me to enter prices, if it also let me enter odometer reading and how much fuel I added it would be one more little thing but a huge benefit

Here's a thought... if the car has an ODB-II device (bluetooth or wifi ... I have one in my car - use with Dash - and one on my Motorbike - use with RPMitUp) it would be great to detect fuel level has changed and use that as a prompt for me to enter how much I added, what type, and what cost ... and record average mpg or l/100km stats...

This would be fantastic ... there's a wealth of extra data available to enhance the experience (and more data for Waze to aggregate, anonymise, and make a buck on) ... I already use a dongle in my car (with Dash), and on my Harley (with RPMitUp) and having the historic data has certainly made more more aware of how the vehicles perform

If Waze were to add features like tracking fuel stops and mpgs etc it would be great... and by reading the ODB-II for the VIN it would know which vehicle I was on so could automatically adjust mode (eg VIN HD-XYZ is the motorbike so switch the defaults accordingly)

If Waze were to consolidate some of the 'extra' features I currently have to run a bunch of apps for (Dash, RPMitUp, GasBuddy and Fuelio) then Waze would become my absolute default must-have app!

    Hey,

Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.

    Thanks!

I'd love to see a minimalist version of the UI to provide maximum situational awareness but minimal distraction when riding (when stopped it could 'zoom out' to show the more detailed map, and then return to focus mode when you start rolling)

    I'd like to see:
    * Current Speed / Speed limit (flagged if over)
    * Camera/trap (speed / red-light) ahead (distance to it)
    * Distance to next junction/change, type of change (what lane to be in, where I'm going)
    * following change (for instance if I need to turn left after the upcoming right, make sure I'm in the optimal lane)
... and that's pretty much it.
Something like what Beeline Moto are trying for - https://beeline.co/pages/beeline-moto - but with the added benefits of the full smartphone display so the 'next junction' could be a visual that shows what lane(s) to be in, or what exit you're taking from a round-about

Not just "Premium", but here in Australia we have three grades of unleaded - 91, 95 and 98 - so would be good to record prices for all three (and/or indicate if a station only sells 91 and 98 for instance)

When setting up my vehicle, I can only enter 91/98/Diesel/Gas as well, but my car recommends 95...
