As someone who lives 5hours drive from family and old friends - travelling in a car happens regularly.
I now have the added person of a 2 year to travel with...and quite simply it can be hellish.
I started to think if there was an app where there was recommended family friendly stop offs - but then talking to a friend app developer, it seems it may not be a good enough app idea and he said instead to contact an navigation app to share my idea to see about an offshoot of an already existing successful app.
My idea - get families that are already a part of your app to pinpoint family friendly activities that are just off main routes - could be a garden centre that has animals and a cafe, or a zoo, or a farm park, or a play park with swings etc.
For myself, we do around 3 stop offs and we don’t rush it - so if I knew that along my route there was a garden centre just off m25 that we could run around for a bit and have some food - that would be amazing! Wayyyy better than a services where I have to watch his every move and he can’t fully run around.
Basically - a way of helping family’s to break up their journey in one place instead of having to do their own research.
Not sure if this would be up your street but thought it was worth a go.
Thanks,
Daisy
