The ETA on the shared route (My Drive) website is no longer visible on older browsers
The ETA is visible only for a very short time before the map is overlaid. Older browser is the default browser of an older Android phone (Samsung with Android 2.3) and IE9.
Also tried the current Firefox and Chrome versions, and both are OK.

Waze could display the speed limit of the road we are driving, and warn the speed limit of the speed controllers we are passing.

Can I mark a present position as a destination address?
I would like to mark a present position and enter it as a destination address.
1 voteIt’s a bit tricky, but possible. Here’s the flow:
1. Select an address, which would be your starting point
2. On the preview location page tap on ‘More’ button (three dots), tap ‘Select as starting point’
3. Select an address which would be your destination (current address)
4. Tap ‘Go’ – Waze would calculate a route from selected start point to the selected destination point. -

Suggestion: put the tolls on the itinerary, than we could guess how much to spend on the trip!
When you go somewhere and it has some tolls you could guess how much spend on the way, and waze could mark where the tolls are and the price.

I'd like to navigate to parkingplaces more easy. Now not every P possibility is shown on my map.
Not every parkingplace (P) is shown on the map. It would be very easy to select (or even see) the P on the map and navigate to it. Nice and easy way to navigate into a city.

sleep timer to improve battery life if screen turned off
hope waze will automatically turned off the gps and put the app in cached processes or closes it entirely to improve battery life when screen turned off by default, unless the app set otherwise.
my friend's phone died after using one hour and forgot to switch waze off. lol :D

One website for everybody
Why segregate users from the US (waze.com) and the rest of the world? (world.waze.com). Bet a ton of people try to use Waze on the web, check waze.com instead of world.waze.com, see nothing, and say "it doesn't work, screw it".
I imagine the separation is needed because of traffic volume concerns or something. But in that case, waze.com should redirect you to the right map depending on your IP, or if you're logged in, on your stated location. And you should have "US Map" "Rest of the world" links on the web livemap you can click to switch from one…

Create a "via" function
Say I'm at home and I'm going out but I need to stop at the bank on the way. My closest branch is the opposite direction of the way I need to go ultimately. If I could type in my destination, but then tell Waze I want to go "via" Citibank, then Waze could calculate whether it's better from a traffic perspective for me to drive the wrong direction now, or if there's a Citibank on my route that would be faster overall.

Updating Work Address still navigates me to old address when auto suggesting route on the m
Your workplace changed it address, after years if using Waze to get there. You update the Work address. The next day, you enter your car in the morning tired, accepts its suggestion as always that I'm driving to Work and what do you know - after 30 minutes you are at your OLD work address!
Only pressing Navigate and clicking Work actually navigates you to the updated address.1 voteClearing cash and/or re-installing the app should help.

How to disable trafficlight pop-ups?
Disable traffic lights alerts should be on the menu optios. It always gets in the way, while I'm trying to find the streets. Very annoying!! Please fix this!!!!

Warn of a breakdown
I would like to be able to warn other drivers when there is a vehicle broken down and disrupting traffic (as easily as warning of police or hazard). Is the a smart way of doing this?

Other language on the site......
Just add some language on the site. I learned to use waze on the field (it's so easy) but now i will like to emprove my level and to edit maps,and the solution on the site are spoken to fast for my english level.

Enable creation of a hyperlink to send to friends to meet up. They can click to navigate usin new web based non app you will develop or ....
So you can share meetups on an email create a location hyperlink button for email meeting up "create location hyperlink". This goes to wase app if thry have it or allows downloading of waze or maybe you can make a web lite version for basic navigation. Or google maps link that promotes waze. You'll still get them to download waze eventually but makes a quick user enhancement without any development time.

A way the app utilizes the contact list better, currently it doesn't find some of my contacts. I would have to manually enter the address.
I tried putting in several different ways to my location which was a daycare. My contact which stated daycare would not pull up even if i specifically have it look in contacts. As well as when i entered the name of the daycare it pulls up a location several hundred miles away, when the closest one was 3 miles

Search function in languages which use punctuated characters
Search function in languages which use punctuated characters (like Greek, Serbian or Frence, to name a few) should be more flexible and produce results regardless of correct punctuation.
For example by typing: "Ορμυλιας" in search box should produce "Ορμυλίας" as a result even though punctuation was not typed correctly.
One step further, in languages using a different character set like Greek, it is quite easy to convert Greek to Latin characters so for example an international tourist typing "Ormilias" in search box should get "Ορμυλίας" as a result instead of nothing. It is the way other GPS apps work.

Include a lane assistant make things easier, if it has been a breakthrough in the generally waze browsers can not lag behind in this.
In many ways the driver outputs can have many doubts and thus help in the journey.

By default compass is displayed on screen tap.
To always show it go to Settings – Map display – Quick access – Always show. In Map display settings it is also possible to lock North.
