  1. Fix map correction submissions

    When reporting map corrections currently, the map does not default to your current location, nor does it provide a current location button.

    Corrections should be a context menu selection on the main map by long press and select via the burger menu

  2. toll booth alert off switch

    Ability to turn off Toll Booth alert

    99.9% of the time, I am driving the same roads as I'm sure most users are. That means I know where the toll booths are. In my area, they aren't booths, just cameras. The lanes don't get narrow or slow down. There are good signs that toll cameras are ahead. The alert from Waze is just a nuisance and there is no option to turn it off like all of the other alert types.

    Great news! The option to turn off toll booths alert is now available in Waze. Install the latest app version to check it out.

    In Australia we have new cameras that photograph non seatbelt and mobile phone useage. Is there any way alerts can include these type of cameras ??

  6. Builings outine

    It would be way easier to find someone's house or certain building that you are driving to if it was shown on the map. I think it's a quality of life improvement that would help many use Waze as their main navigation app

  7. display current location data to report break down location for tow truck

    Myself and a few freinds over the years have been stuck and had to give a location to get help to a third party. None of us could find a "I'm here" feature to tell say a tow truck how to find us. Such as "Mile marker 123 Rt 78 Clinton NJ". It's frustrating to have trouble telling help where you are especially at night. Something like an information button to give the info.

  8. To be able to add house numbers with a slash!

    Should be able to write unit numbers when searching for an address i.e. '1/23 Fake Street'.
    Currently, Waze doesn't acknowledge the unit number and will show up with only '23 Fake Street'.
    Need to be able to make a search for a destination of a house with a different unit number which might be a few houses down from where Waze ends up directing you to. (if all the units are in a row on the street)

  9. Reroute should say if due to accident

    We were driving on the interstate when Waze started suggesting faster routes which didn’t make sense. Had Waze warned “Accident ahead causing .. minute/ hour delay” I would’ve taken notice instead of wondering why Waze was suggesting I get off the normally fastest route.

  11. Suggestion for New Waze Feature - Avoid Bad Roads

    Hey Waze Community,

    I've got an idea for a feature that could make our driving experience even better, especially for those of us dealing with bumpy roads in the north.

    How about a "Avoid Bad Roads" option on Waze? Our roads often get rough due to changing seasons, and it takes a while for the city to fix them. With Google's advanced sensing capabilities, why not use that data to detect road conditions like bumps and potholes?

    This feature could help us choose routes that prioritize smoother rides. Additionally, we could have a city-specific ranking system highlighting the worst road…

  12. Eliminate country lanes

    Eliminate country lanes as an option for routing would be great in the UK as these roads are often single lane and dangerous to drive. All to save a minute from the main roads!

    Currently traffic bars for various routes appear on phone screen but not on the car screen when using Carplay. Summary traffic bars for various routes is too valuable to not have

  14. Store Map Issues Until they can be reported.

    In Rural Areas of the US but not only US cell data coverage sometimes can be problematic and connection may go in and out. When the user attempts to report a map issue the report can be filled out but submission goes to an error message: "Something Went Wrong" and the report and the information is lost.

    This can create problems with issues reported in Rural Areas where there is definite evidence of use of Waze but very few reports even though there are missing roads or missing pieces of data for the existing roads.

    As a suggestion Waze should:

  15. Make Waze compatible with AndroidAuto Coolwalk.

    Waze is not yet working on full screen with Coolwalk beta of Android Auto. Google Maps is doing that already.

  16. Turn off construction alert - bug and improvement

    There are other suggestions for this but some are old so I am also adding a new one. The audible alerts for costruction and not at all helpful and very annoying. I have selected to not show alerts for construction yet they show on the map. One zone near me has up to 5 different alerts from people throughout the construction zone, including a spot where the "End Road Work" sign is visible. I get it, people (hopefully passengers) are bored and play with the app. But the audible warnings interrupt my music or podcast and get very frustrating.

  18. Make an option to turn off suggested drives please

    A lot of times when I’m selecting an address, waze will load one or two suggested drives on top of it and start navigating me there. I’ve driven to the wrong place several times because of this. We already have the “saved places” so it would be nice if we could turn off the suggestions.
