Please make voice reports optional. Very frustrating to be interrupted by voice prompt.

Displaying gas station icons on the map while driving / navigating
Hello,
I have a few wishes / suggestions.
1. Displaying gas station icons on the map while driving / navigating. I like this on Sygic navigation, if it navigates you, for example, on the highway, not only do you see gas station icons, but it is possible to turn it on to show you the next gas station or perhaps a rest area directly on your way. So you can see, for example, that the next gas station is MOL 45km away.

View map on mobile to select point on map, law enforcement
Similar to Google Maps interface, in which I can pin a point on the mobile app and start navigation on Android Auto. I frequently use Waze to safely navigate to reported accidents, debris and disabled vehicles. Waze reports are significantly more location-accurate than my dispatcher saying "Respond to the area of Exit 45 for a crash." Before the last update, I could force stop Waze on my phone, reopen the app to the map, pin a location next to the incident and start navigation, then reopen the app on Android Auto to navigate. Apple Maps already supports this (“Hey Siri, report a speed check”), but Waze does not. Since Waze has the most active crowdsourcing community, this feature would significantly improve:

This post is to strongly urge the prioritization of full integration with Apple CarPlay to enable turn-by-turn navigation on built-in Head-Up Displays (HUD) and digital instrument clusters.
This remains one of the most critical safety and convenience features missing from Waze, and it's a primary reason why many drivers reluctantly switch to Apple Maps when using CarPlay.

Fix map correction submissions
When reporting map corrections currently, the map does not default to your current location, nor does it provide a current location button.
Corrections should be a context menu selection on the main map by long press and select via the burger menu

toll booth alert off switch
Ability to turn off Toll Booth alert
99.9% of the time, I am driving the same roads as I'm sure most users are. That means I know where the toll booths are. In my area, they aren't booths, just cameras. The lanes don't get narrow or slow down. There are good signs that toll cameras are ahead. The alert from Waze is just a nuisance and there is no option to turn it off like all of the other alert types.

iOS 18 Dark Icon! PLEASE
Dear WAZE Support,
I hope this message finds you well. I’ve been using your app for some time now and truly appreciate its features. With the release of iOS 18, I was wondering if you could consider adding a dark mode icon option for the app.
It would be a great addition for those of us who prefer a consistent dark theme across our devices.

Alert about speed cameras even when not speeding.
Currently, with speed camera alerts enabled, the alert only activates when speeding while approaching a speed camera. An option to display the alert regardless of current speed would be beneficial.

In Australia we have new cameras that photograph non seatbelt and mobile phone useage. Is there any way alerts can include these type of cameras ??

Builings outine
It would be way easier to find someone's house or certain building that you are driving to if it was shown on the map. I think it's a quality of life improvement that would help many use Waze as their main navigation app

display current location data to report break down location for tow truck
Myself and a few freinds over the years have been stuck and had to give a location to get help to a third party. None of us could find a "I'm here" feature to tell say a tow truck how to find us. Such as "Mile marker 123 Rt 78 Clinton NJ". It's frustrating to have trouble telling help where you are especially at night. Something like an information button to give the info.

To be able to add house numbers with a slash!
Should be able to write unit numbers when searching for an address i.e. '1/23 Fake Street'.
Currently, Waze doesn't acknowledge the unit number and will show up with only '23 Fake Street'.
Need to be able to make a search for a destination of a house with a different unit number which might be a few houses down from where Waze ends up directing you to. (if all the units are in a row on the street)2 votes
