Prior to Waze 4.101, Waze followed the "only at night" setting when map projected to Android Auto. It would auto-switch at dusk and dawn. For users with aftermarket head units, this was a great feature, and prevented distracted driving, as most aftermarket units do not connect to the car's lighting system.
Please restore this feature, even if it has to be a user enabled option or developer option.

Via Android Auto dark mode won't switch off. It used to. I find this mode unreadable and it now comes on at night and even when going under bridges. Please fix the off switch. I know some like the dark mode so clearly important that the choice works.

Putting the option of having darkmode on Waze android auto screen. There is no option for it now and it's difficult and quite dangerous driving at night with a bright screen not being able to turn on the darkmode.

Implement night mode in Android Auto. With Waze on the big screen the glare is killing my eyes.
