  3. Some bugs encountered with the application

    I use Waze very frequently for my work. Both as a GPS and as an assistant for road hazards.
    I've noticed a few anomalies in Android Auto.

    When I approach a speed camera, Waze informs me about it and the distance. As soon as I have passed the zone, the "Speed camera" indication remains on the screen and Waze does not provide any other information.
    I have taken some pictures of the problem encountered. If you want them, let me know where I should send them.

  4. Desde la ultima actualiacion la aplicacion se cuelga constantemente. Entre otras cosas no avisa mas si pasas la velocidad permitida.

  5. Sinds gisteren kan ik wase niet meer connecteren met Android auto.

    Sinds gisteren kan ik Waze auto niet meer connecteren met Android auto. Auto: Skoda enyaq, telefoon Android V 10.
    Bluetooth connectie werkt nog wel, opladen telefoon ook nog, dus het probleem schijnt softwateprobleem te zijn.

    When I used Apple Car Play, I could select catagory and then find nearby gas station, drive thrus, shopping centres etc. With Andriod Auto, I only have the option for nearby gas stations and I can't search for the other nearby categories such as drive thru resteraunt.

  7. Link Driving Mode to Waze

    When I get in the car driving mode is now an option but Google assistant doesn't actually seem to know who I am. If I say Drive me home it doesn't know where home is... Telling Google is pointless as I live in France and all my language settings are in English so it doesn't understand.

  8. Bubble android auto

    Hello,
    I use Waze for my work.
    On the touch screen of the car, when I press on a road it is highlighted in blue but the bubble to press "GO" does not appear as on the smartphone application.
    I have the same problem with different brands of vehicles.

  12. Display of built-in navigation/map on the dashboard after navigation is finished

    Hello.

    I noticed that when I start navigating via Waze, the built-in navigation in the car on the dashboard displays the voice "mobile navigation is active",,. and does not display the built-in navigation. After the navigation via Waze ends, but this voice on the dashboard remains active and the built-in navigation in the car is not displayed. Only after restarting the vehicle and connecting. After navigating to the destination, Google Maps switches back to the built-in navigation mode on the dashboard and displays the map in the vehicle.

    I only use waze for android auto and have the car icon setup as a convertible. After every Waze update, it resets this to the triangle, until I launch the Waze app manually on my phone

  15. Android Auto issue started roughly a number of months ago

    Usually on my car display, Waze icon shows up by default along with Google Maps when I plug my phone into the car. Now it doesn't. I have to start the waze app on the phone for the icon to appear on my car display. I use a 2021 Toyota Corolla LE. Also when I try to use Waze on my car screen, when I use the Uber driver app along side it, Waze freezes saying "kill" the app or "wait" as choices.

    Either chosen option, the app doesn't work on the car display. I was wondering what the issue…

    Waze v4.100.1.0
    Android Auto v10.9.634644-release
    Toyota Corolla 2019

    When I use Waze through Android Auto, it becomes unresponsive after a minute or so. I have to set the route before plugin the phone in the car.

    No problem with an iphone through apple car ...

    Any chance to get a fix ?

  17. Resolve Waze slowness issue while Spotify is on (Android Auto)

    If Waze runs without Spotify there is no issue, but as soon as Spotify is used, Android Auto becomes very slow. If you use Maps for navigation, Spotify works fine. So there is a problem with Waze and Spotify.

    RANDOM DISCONNECTS: Random disconnects that report the phone is no longer connected when it is connected. I use a Samsung S20FE. Disconnecting and reconnecting the high-quality USB cable does not help. To isolate whether the issue is the cable, I've tried multiple cables. They all have the same random disconnect issue.

    SCREEN DISPLAY: I've also run into something when the connection is working and I'm using Waze (my favorite GPS app). When I use the right turn signal the screen switches from the GPS display to the side camera, as it should. But when the turn…
