Android Auto issue started roughly a number of months ago
Usually on my car display, Waze icon shows up by default along with Google Maps when I plug my phone into the car. Now it doesn't. I have to start the waze app on the phone for the icon to appear on my car display. I use a 2021 Toyota Corolla LE. Also when I try to use Waze on my car screen, when I use the Uber driver app along side it, Waze freezes saying "kill" the app or "wait" as choices.
Either chosen option, the app doesn't work on the car display. I was wondering what the issue could be. Other apps I usually have on are Pocket Cast, Spotify, or Reddit. I use a Samsung Galaxy S21+ Ultra, and I keep my apps auto updated and always update my version of Android when it prompts me to.
Is there something I can do to remedy this car display/Waze issue?
