Automate road closure Report
It is difficult to report road closures in real time - especially on a freeway - because of the approach speed and unexpected driving adjustment. If Waze inquired why I missed a turn/off-on ramp it would be helpful. This is similar to when Waze asks "you slowed down - are you in traffic?" If Waze notices that I missed a turn/off-on ramp it should ask "you missed a turn- was there a road closure ?" This way I can report later ( give me 60 secs) when safe. Heads up
Warning of reason for new route: when traveling, we sometimes receive notices of alternate routes, that we then may accept of reject. However, sometimes, we simply are directed to a new route without any explanation or reason. We have found that ignoring the direction can result in significant delays. Why does Waze not give a heads up with an explanation for suggesting a new route in ALL circumstances?

Give reason for suggested route change.
- Have tone or spoken message that there is a suggested route change to draw your attention to something on the screen.
- Have the message stay on screen until acknowledged.
- Have default to stay on selected route, if reason is just quicker by a few minutes or shorter.
- Only change route IF traffic is blocked or significant delay due to accident or some other non normal event.

Information
Is there any way when you change the route an reroute us you could tell us why so we can make a choice as what to do. I’ve been rerouted to some really sketchy roads and when driving alone it can be a bit scary.

Navigation does not default to the closest result
For example, if I'm looking for a local credit union I can tell Waze to search for it, but the result may be something a thousand miles away in New York instead of something in my own county. If I look for a restaurant it may gave me the corporate office in another state instead of one 5 miles away. The problem is exacerbated with the voice dictation system which blocks the results with the keyboard even though you're using voice dictation.
