I am reaching out to formally request that the Republic of Kosovo be recognized as a sovereign state on Waze, just as other independent countries are represented. As you may be aware, Kosovo declared independence in 2008 and has since been recognized by over 127 UN member states, including Israel.

The exclusion of Kosovo as a separate state on Waze creates challenges for users, particularly in navigation, geolocation accuracy, and real-time traffic updates. This omission does not reflect the political reality and recognition of Kosovo as an independent country by many international institutions and governments.

We kindly urge you to update Waze’s mapping system to properly include Kosovo as a sovereign state, ensuring fair and accurate representation for its citizens and visitors. This adjustment would significantly enhance the user experience and align Waze with internationally recognized facts.
