Add “Speed bump” as a map error report option
Add “Speed bump” as a map error report option
It would be useful to allow users to report speed bumps as a map error instead of only as a general hazard.
Currently, speed bumps are often missing or inconsistently mapped, and reporting them through broad categories reduces accuracy and slows down data correction.
Proposed feature:
- Add “Speed bump missing” or “Incorrect speed bump” under Map error reports
- Allow users to pin the exact location on the map
- Optional details (type, size, visibility)
Benefits:
- more precise map data
- faster correction of missing road features
- improved routing accuracy and driver awareness
This would make road infrastructure data more complete and reliable.

Dear Waze Team,
I am writing to suggest a practical improvement for the Waze app. Could you please consider adding a "Speed Bump" option directly within the existing reporting menu?
Currently, there is no quick, dedicated way to report new speed bumps. By adding this as a standard icon in the main reporting screen, it would become much easier and safer for drivers to alert others to new speed bumps on the road. This would significantly improve map accuracy and help protect vehicles from unexpected impacts.
Thank you for your time and for your continuous efforts to enhance the driving experience for the entire community.
Best regards,
