Add Permanent Hazard for Causeways (Fords / Dangerous Dips)
I would like to request the addition of a permanent hazard type in the Waze Map Editor for Causeways (Fords / Dangerous Dips).
In many developing countries, mountainous regions, and jungle areas (such as in Nepal), national highways and rural roads frequently cross seasonal rivers or streams via causeways rather than bridges. These sections of the road are prone to sudden water accumulation, standard flooding, and severe dips that can damage vehicles or pose a significant safety risk to drivers who are unfamiliar with the terrain.
Currently, local traffic authorities recognize these as permanent, high-risk road features. For example, Nepal uses the standard road signage B34 for Causeway/Dangerous Dip (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Nepal_road_sign_B34.svg) to warn drivers well in advance.
Since these are fixed, physical characteristics of the roads, treating them as temporary hazards isn't sufficient. Having a permanent "Causeway/Dip" hazard in WME would allow editors to map them accurately, giving drivers timely audio and visual alerts to slow down before reaching these dangerous sections.
Thank you for considering this crucial safety feature for global road networks!
