I am writing to suggest developing a mobile-optimized interface or a dedicated companion mode for the Waze Map Editor (WME).

Currently, making quick map edits or adding house numbers while on the go requires a desktop setup, as the desktop editor is very difficult to navigate on mobile browsers—even with "Desktop Site" enabled.

A mobile-friendly editing mode would greatly benefit the editor community for several reasons:
Real-Time On-Site Verification: Editors could easily fix house numbers, street names, or missing turn restrictions while standing directly in front of the location, ensuring maximum accuracy.
Higher Community Engagement: Allowing editors to make quick adjustments from their phones during downtime (without needing a computer) would increase total editing activity and attract new editors.
Streamlined Field Editing: Combining smartphone GPS capabilities with a streamlined touch interface would make mapping complex rural areas or newly developed neighborhood addresses much faster.
Even a simplified mobile version limited to basic edits—such as adjusting house numbers, updating street names, or resolving map comments—would be a massive improvement for field mappers.
