In France, Crit'Air restriction polygons (named for example "CritAir HighPollution Grenoble") are switched on and off by Waze staff when a pollution episode starts and ends. Editors can see that a polygon exists. They cannot see whether it is currently active.

Here is what that cost us, on the record:

• 24 June 2026: differentiated traffic is activated on the Grenoble metropolitan area and around Vienne, in Isère. Only Crit'Air 0/1/2 vehicles are allowed. The polygons are switched on.
• The episode itself ends within days.
• 21 August 2026, nearly two months later, a local editor happens to notice the restrictions are still in force. Nothing in WME showed it; he found out by chance.
• Switching them off required a request to staff, and then waited on one person coming back from leave.

So for about two months, two metropolitan areas carried a restriction that no longer existed in reality, and no editor could see it, because the only thing WME shows is the polygon, never its state.

The ask is small: show the current state (active / inactive) of these restriction polygons in WME, and ideally the period they are active for. An editor watching a region would then catch a stale restriction in seconds, instead of never.
