Remember there are lots of situations other than being stopped when pause would be handy...for example, driving though large parking lots in shopping centers or maybe a 4-wheeler taking an off-road shortcut.

To piggy back on this suggestion, please add common problems in a drop down so I do not have to text while driving. Examples would include "slow traffic", "construction slowing traffic", "Accident", etc.

I contend a pause optioin is not necessary. When five other Waze users pass you, it is clear that you have stopped for a reason other than traffic. Waze is based on lots of Waze users.
