Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

I have encountered numerous reported road hazards but several have been on the median side rather than the shoulder. A couple of times while driving at night I was very surprised how close I came to them on the median side. Instead of the current "Hazard reported ahead" why can't Waze actually report what the hazard is (because the hazard can be identified in the app, and if it isn't at least where it is, if reported; in the road, shoulder, or median). I consider this a big safety issue and a very badly needed feature.
This is a great idea! I would like to see a button or something labeled "Upcoming" or something and you can choose based on distance and it details the information as suggested above. Possibly even add icons for Rest Areas, Fuel, Food/Restaurants, Hospital, Police, etc. Common exit signage icons I guess.
