   The icons clustered ahead of me do not indicate if they are in my lane/direction of travel or not. The icons could have a simple visual cue:
   Instead of:
   (x)
   \/
   They could look like: (right lane)
   (x)
   \/>
   or (left lane)
   (x)
   <\/
