    This bug needs to be able to be disabled. It's useless, detracts from the usefulness of Waze (hides alerts), and is a distraction (you have to manually find the X and interact with it while driving).

    I wish this would actually be done. It's a useless GUI that blocks half the screen (including alerts) and has to be manually interacted with to go away.
