    Hey,

    Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2023 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
    We hope to have it included in our plans for later years and will keep you posted.

    There should be a popup when you enter the address that asks "use HOV? yes/no". This would eliminate when Waze says "take the HOV" but there are no passengers. Also, it would eliminate the uncertainty you have when Waze suggests an alternate route without an HOV lane. Does the suggestion consider HOV? Does it not? Should I take the alternate route or take the HOV on the preferred route?
