    As an alternative, perhaps a “trail crossing” or “path crossing” hazard that would be used only for defined trails or paths (bike paths, rail to trails, hiking trails, multi use paths). This would make it easier to know when to add or not, so there should not be a concern about creating an expectation (whether on the part of the editor or the driver) that all crosswalks are to be mapped.
