That this isn’t a feature already is sort of astonishing. Did the developers expect folks to pull over to the side of the road, disconnect Apple CarPlay or android auto, report a closure, and then re-initialize CarPlay or android auto and continue their drive? No developer there can say they would expect this unless they genuinely would do it themselves.
