   Would also aid in leaving one's residence without all the known/obvious directions prior to joining the 'unknown' path

   traveling from A to B often necessitates a stop for fuel, lunch, etc.
   allowing one to push a button to PAUSE facilitates this without the incessant "make a u-turn" and other redirections
