    I'd take this further... In SF, and other cities, public transportation provides data about where buses / trains are. It would be great to incorporate that into the algorithm so you don't get sent down Cole St. when the J is in front of you. In that kind of situation, there is no re-routing possible. You just have to suck it up and wait.
