Oled mode
Make a interface theam that is all black screen but with roads in road colours on compleatly black backgrond and text in normal colours eg white green blue ect with speedo as standard so as little of the screen is lit up as possible as i find my phone get very hot when running with display on and eats battory i have switch to night mode and found an improvement but i think with a true minimalistic oled mode devices will run much cooler and battory lasts longer but will only help oled devices 👌

Make the speed limit bigger and permanently visible on screen. I don’t like having to make it appear by driving a little faster
Can you make the speed limit stay on permanently. And bigger. It’s too small and takes a number of seconds (eyes off road seconds) to glance down looking for it. When unsure of the speed limit in areas where it changes a lot then the only way to make it appear is to drive faster and look for what point it flashes up. This is not safe. I would love it to just be there all of the time.

אזכור לא לשכוח את הילדים
כמו שיש אזכור להדליק אורות במהלך הנסיעה. אני חושבת שלאור מקרי השכחה באוטו של ילדים. אפשר שהוייז (שיודע שמגיעים ליעד) יזכיר לא לשכוח את הילדים ולעשות סריקה לאחור.

Add Waze as a CarPlay
I prefer Waze but I’m forced to use Maps as my navigator because Waze is not a CarPlay app.

Search bar covers directions
Your search bar will pop up on the top after navigation starts. It covers the turn by turn directions. You have to tap into it and than back out to dismiss it which makes it super annoying.

Show map during location search
You should be able to enter a store name like "Home Depot" and be able to see locations around you on a map - not specific addresses. Everytime want to find something new around me have to go into another app to actually see its location on the map. Greatly decreases motivation to go back to Waze after that

Law
a law was created that we have to use the low beam on the roads even during the day. I would suggest an in-app notice to kindle the light when entering a highway. Thank you

motorbike mode !
Have you thought about a motorbike mode .So if you have waze on you don't bother of traffic jam !

"Easy drive" mode
define the navigation logic so that it will skip narrow streets, traffic lights, stop signes, any road when the average speed is under 40 km/h etc. Allow for a 20% longer ride, but get me home fresh and not drained...
7 votes“Avoid difficult intersections” option is available in Navigation settings. Should ease your driving experience to some extent.

Calendar selection for integration
While I LOVE the calendar integration, I would love it even more if I had the option to say "only this (or these) calendars". I have calendars shared with me that I don't need travel notifications for.

Add Buttons
Its difficult to give reports when one is driving at 120 km/hr. Users must be able to add buttons, similar to speed reading on the screen, where once can report by touch of a button. One should also have option to drag and place these buttons anywhere on the screen
I would add following to my screen when driving.
- Report Car on Shoulder
- Report Pothole
- Heavy traffic

Navigate to calendar event
It would be great to have the possibilty to navigate to a calendar event ( not only facebook event) but es: google calendar events.
On my oppinion it should be: navigate to -> calendar events -> validate and preview in map adress -> go.7 votesAfter calendar integration is turned on, you’ll receive notifications with suggestion to drive to a calendar event location.

Street number in combination with letter
Please add possibility to enter street number in combination with letter. For example 9a or 110c. We in Latvia got such house numbers.

Allow to add speed cameras directly in the map editor and/or change their type (speed/light)
Currently you cannot add a speed camera without reporting it on the spot with your app and then go approve it in the map editor.. This slows down the process if you are in the editor and see a camera is missing and don't want to drive there to add it.
Changing the type of existing ones could help correct mistakes when people report a wrong type of camera.7 votes -

I need suport on this as I've tried to get Waze to make this adjustment but they keep saying enough people have to agree
It seems crazy to me that you can so easily post a vehicle stopped on the side of the road...not effecting traffic at all...yet there is no option to report a vehicle broken down in the middle of Freeway lanes, causing a monumental traffic jam! There is an option for roadkill!!! Like a squashed squirrel is really going to impact your journey...but nothing for a vehicle. I had this problem happen to me. Post weather reports
Torrential rain, ice, tornado etc etc would all be useful information for other Wazers, just like Traffic Jams or accidents are. Can we have a quick weather report like moods with a limited validity time please?
