  1. NEW FEATURE

    Add a new feature that allows waze to voice out hazards ahead like road kill, traffic, and stopped vehicles. Also, when police are reported ahead. This new feature would allow drivers to get all alerts even if they are not using the waze app as a navigation tool. Drivers would be able to set this feature on and off by Bluetooth in their car as well. This would be helpful for everyone driving even if they do not need a gps.

  2. Switching locations as easy as it is for Google Maps

    If I'm currently at location A (say), the current version of Waze (for Android) don't allow me to explore the route between 2 other different locations (B & C say). It only uses my current location (A) to any other locations so could you please make it possible to have two search boxes to allow us to explore the route of any 2 locations (e.g. From B to C)?, and also make it easy to switch between these 2 locations by having a double headed vertical arrows that can be used to switch the locations with a single tap to…

    It’s a bit tricky, but possible. Here’s the flow:
    1. Select an address, which would be your starting point
    2. On the preview location page tap on ‘More’ button (three dots), tap ‘Select as starting point’
    3. Select an address which would be your destination
    4. Tap ‘Go’ – Waze would calculate a route from selected start point to the selected destination point.

  5. Variable Speed limit warning customization

    If the speed limit is say 50 mph or less, than a warning of 15 mph (or whatever you want) would be appropriate, but if it's over 50 mph maybe give a warning at 20 mph over. Also allow us to choose exact warning like 13 mph over. Seems like a pretty simple addition.

    In the Settings you’re able to choose when to warn you about going over speed limit – based on your suggestion you best choice would be to choose something like “Warn me at 15% above speed limit”

  6. Waze android auto

    There needs to be a way to use Waze on car stereos with Android auto WITHOUT forcing you to use the stereo as a Bluetooth device to answer the phone. I like the sound of my Headset better than the radio sound for calls.

  8. MY BUSINESS IS AT THE WRONG ADDRESS. MAD LAVENDER FARM is NOT in Ewing. It is at 452 County Road 579, Milford, NJ 08848. I can't fix this.

    Thank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze already takes license plate restrictions into account, in many parts of the world. To enable this feature, add your license plate details under Settings > Car details > License plate.

  13. Switch Moto/Car mode based on bluetooth setup

    I use Waze with my car and my scooter and often I forgot to switch on moto mode and it is hard to switch when I wear my glove. It would be great to be able to switch automatically the mode based on my bluetooth setup or at least have an api to do this with tasker.

  14. Gas prices

    Unable to update gas prices now. When I try to update gas prices it says I’m a baby Wazer. So now Waze you’ll rather have inaccurate prices posted. Allow everyone to update gas prices.

    Thank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze displays gas prices in many parts of the world. For more accurate prices, choose your gas type under Settings > Gas stations.

  15. Add ability to specify number of passengers so that App can determine whether to suggest taking High Occupancy Vechicle Lane on highways

    Some highways have HOV Lanes that are intended for cars with 2+ occupants (i.e. Hwy 403, 404 Ontario Canada). In cases when person is travelling alone the App still suggests taking HOV lane because it does not know the number of occupants in the car.

    Thank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze offers HOV routing for taxis. To change your vehicle type go to Settings > Vehicle type. There are currently no plans to add more HOV options.

  16. Setting to show restaurants in route

    While in europe most of the local eateries are well hidden IE South Hampton area. Have an option to populate map showing eaters or specific type of eateries in route.

    Please allow Waze Drivers to accept Multiple Riders at the same time, from same location. now once we accept one Rider we are not able to accept other riders in the same route.

    Want to try another voice?

    Tap Menu and tap the Settings wheel.
    Tap Voice & sound.
    Tap Voice Language and select the voice you’d like to use."

  19. Auto shut off if left on to save battery

    If left on with no significant movement: then ask if still navigating, if no response then exit the app.(Or something similar)

    The Idea being to keep it from draining most of the phones battery if put in a pocket (or left somewhere) but fail to close the app.
