Show school carpool lanes
Show SCHOOL "carpool" lanes; i.e. Temporary lane closures during certain hours of the day, mostly around private schools, that clog up traffic
1 voteThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze offers HOV routing for taxis. To change your vehicle type go to Settings > Vehicle type. There are currently no plans to add more HOV options.

search address from wirhin the phone directory. It was working before!!!!!!
I use to search any address from within WAZE, and it looks in my phone directory and gets the address.
After Google bought it, it can not be done!!! I can't figure out why!!!!1 vote -

Power saving mode is configurable at Settings – Battery saver. You can also switch your location permission to ‘While in use’. Should fix the issue.

Soy usuario asiduo de Waze, y considero que deben implementar una opción que pida, recién se abre la APP, el tipo de vehículo en el que me voy a movilizar. Esto con el fin de que los que van en motocicleta, no afecten las estadísitcas, en cuanto a la velocidad del tráfico, ya que los motociclistas suelen meterse entre los carros. gracias.
1 voteThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze already has Motorcycle Mode included in the app. To change your vehicle type, tap Settings > Car Details > Vehicle type.

I would like the app to display speed limits as I drive.
I would like the map navigation to display the speed limit as I drive.
Warning sounds if I exceed limits.
Also the ability to customize how much over the speed limit the warning should sound.
Also, to see the sky into top foreground as it would appear according to earths rotation.1 vote -

Rush Hour in Los Angeles
Rush Hour in Los Angeles: first, there are surprisingly few left turn light signals in Los Angeles (LA) at major intersections. second, especially at rush hour in LA (which is most of the time) it is next to impossible to make a left onto a major road or cross it without a traffic light or 4-way stop sign. third, if a route says there is 'heavy' traffic up ahead or traffic is 'at a standstill', route me a different way!

My biggest issue with Waze vs other GPS devices/apps was the lack of speed limit. Thank you for finally adding it!! Way to go Waze. Great app, saved me from tickets and getting stuck in traffic in multiple occasions.

I can't find the help topic and have spent ages trying to find the answers on your troubleshooting page. It's very frustrating not being able to get help - no contact email for support at all.

Waze can synchronize with calendars and remind - alaram few minutes before the driver has to start his way. Many features can be used
- For example, you can tell waze in the morning that you need to be in a specific location in a certain time and it will remind you to start driving several minutes before.
- It can synchronize with calendars and manage you time schedules with reminders and alarams

1 voteThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze already takes license plate restrictions into account, in many parts of the world. To enable this feature, add your license plate details under Settings > Car details > License plate.

use proper dutch in dutch app
In dutch app you can see reports around me. This is translated as meldingen "om me heen" this is bad (street)language. Proper dutch should be "om mij heen". Btw this error is choosen last year as the most annoying (and dumb) mistake!!

I would like a feature on Waze that shows the MPH of the road you are driving on.
I would like to see the speed limit of the road you are driving on. Sometimes roads are not marked well.

As a UBER , and LYFT driver , we need a button to push to let the app know we have passengers , and it will direct us to HOV lanes , ramps

Spotify Compatibility
When listening to Spotify while navigating using Waze, the audio will stop when Waze detects a hand wave. The audio stops to receive a voice command. Often this hand wave detection is detected by accident. This is not the issue. The issue is that upon canceling or finishing the voice command, Waze restarts audio, but the original source of the audio is ignored, and Waze starts audio from the ITunes Music Library. If listening to audio from Spotify, Waze starts audio from a different, undesired source. This causes a big problem and a potentially dangerous situation as the driver would…
1 voteThank you for your suggestion! As you may already know, Waze is now integrated with several audio apps including Spotify, Deezer, TuneIn, iHeart Radio, Pandora and more. Just go to Settings > Audio Player and pick your favorite app.

For Australian roads, no right hand turns at busy intersections unless there is a traffic light
The reason why I don't always use waze is because it has the habit of making routes involving right hand turns at busy intersections with no traffic lights. This is a bit issue in Countries that drive on the left side of the road.
