Navigate to calendar event
It would be great to have the possibilty to navigate to a calendar event ( not only facebook event) but es: google calendar events.
On my oppinion it should be: navigate to -> calendar events -> validate and preview in map adress -> go.6 votesAfter calendar integration is turned on, you’ll receive notifications with suggestion to drive to a calendar event location.

Suggestion: put the tolls on the itinerary, than we could guess how much to spend on the trip!
When you go somewhere and it has some tolls you could guess how much spend on the way, and waze could mark where the tolls are and the price.

Hire car return - Find a petrol station
This is a bit weak as a stand alone app, so I was thinking you could integrate this into Waze.
When returning hire cars you are required to return with a full tank of gas, otherwise be charged an extortionate rate.
So if you are navigating to an airport or car hire facility, allow a function in Waze, within a set radius inform you of the distance to a gas station (and reroute you if necessary).2 votesYou can find gas stations on around your route and add them as a stop point.

Create individual icons for fast ID
Create individual icons for fast recognition:
•Hidden police wear sunglasses & just an outline for unmarked police car
•Cloud for fog
•Shovel for construction
•Black dot for pothole
•Icicle for road ice
•Tombstone for roadkill
•Bicycle for bike on roadway
•Indicate why traffic is slow w/tow truck icon for accident, lightbulb for traffic light malfunction & "strobe" light for misc-red for EMS, blue for utility work, etc.4 votes -

3 votesThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze already has Motorcycle Mode included in the app. To change your vehicle type, tap Settings > Car Details > Vehicle type.

alerts without scrolling
The alert system is great, but when you're driving it would be easier to see all buttons on the same screen, with no need for scrolling. When you need to scroll the list to see all icons it makes you lose attention to the road.
Would it be too difficult to add all kind of alerts on the same window?6 votes -
Tolls
Implementation of the toll rates!
Automatically calculates the price at an entry naviguation when using highway and toll! Updated by other wazers (like gas stations).
Gives the amount of travel when using a motorway!
Way, each Wazer can prepare his way in better conditions and to know your expenses during his journey.

Great news! The feature for reporting Broken traffic light is now available in Waze under road hazards. Install the latest app version to check it out.

Registered user should be able to plan an upcoming route using the web site, and Waze should use that route, once it turned on.

Please consider adding SPEED LIMITs. It would set you apart... again!!! It would make great press coverage too!
Speed limits would make this a number #1 application and set Waze apart. The other apps have caught up to standard Waze.

Carpooling, picking friends up
I pick my friends up for college every morning and I would love Waze to offer a way to remember carpooling groups and requests. That way I would only have to open the app and let my "college group" know I'm leaving. Each one of them would receive my ETA to their location and would let them know (individually) when they have to go on the street to hop on the car. Similarly, they would also be able to check my location and ETA to their location at any time.

planning a route via website
Any reason why I cannot get directions using the web via pc? Sooooo I have to resort to mapquest or google maps while at my pc? It would be nice to plan my route out, save it and then access it on my smartphone. This is already possible on mapquest ......

Allow Waze to work better with toll lanes and carpool lanes.
Best examples of how Waze falls short:
1) 91W Toll road split to 91/55 fwys- if you're in the toll road, Waze gives the wrong direction, as the exits are the reverse of what the freeway has.
2) 91W to 5N- exits are different depending on whether you are in the carpool lane or not.Would be great if Waze asked if you qualified for carpool when starting navigation.
7 votesThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze offers HOV routing for taxis. To change your vehicle type go to Settings > Vehicle type. There are currently no plans to add more HOV options.

Indicate the speed limit on each portion in addition to the speedometer. Indicate the time or the last wazer to borrow the same road.
Save favorite places on the internet account, it avoids recreating when changing phone.

I'd like to navigate to parkingplaces more easy. Now not every P possibility is shown on my map.
Not every parkingplace (P) is shown on the map. It would be very easy to select (or even see) the P on the map and navigate to it. Nice and easy way to navigate into a city.

Mute button should be clearer
I thought Waze was broken!: As it is, the mute button on the top left of the main Menu is a picture of a speaker with sound waves whereas the unumute button has a mute icon on it. This made me interpret it backward and made me think my sound didn't work.
Instead, the mute button could always have a mute icon (a speaker with a slash through it) but should stay depressed (and maybe highlighted?) when muted. Alternately, you could use an iPhone-style on/off slider.
