Soporte para la navegación - Pico y Placa en Lima, Perú
Estimados Waze,
En vista de la implementación en Lima, Peru, del sistema Pico y Placa (avenidas restringidas en ciertos horarios y dias de la semana, segun el numero de placa), recomiendo que se implemente en el aplicativo una opción para indicar si la placa del auto es par o impar, y segun eso, se evite recomendar rutas que vayan por las avenidas restringidas, durante el horario / día en que corresponda.Muchas gracias!!

Switch Moto/Car mode based on bluetooth setup
I use Waze with my car and my scooter and often I forgot to switch on moto mode and it is hard to switch when I wear my glove. It would be great to be able to switch automatically the mode based on my bluetooth setup or at least have an api to do this with tasker.

Gas prices
Unable to update gas prices now. When I try to update gas prices it says I’m a baby Wazer. So now Waze you’ll rather have inaccurate prices posted. Allow everyone to update gas prices.

Add ability to specify number of passengers so that App can determine whether to suggest taking High Occupancy Vechicle Lane on highways
Some highways have HOV Lanes that are intended for cars with 2+ occupants (i.e. Hwy 403, 404 Ontario Canada). In cases when person is travelling alone the App still suggests taking HOV lane because it does not know the number of occupants in the car.
1 voteThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze offers HOV routing for taxis. To change your vehicle type go to Settings > Vehicle type. There are currently no plans to add more HOV options.

Setting to show restaurants in route
While in europe most of the local eateries are well hidden IE South Hampton area. Have an option to populate map showing eaters or specific type of eateries in route.

ability to add speed limits
Can we please have the ability to add speed limits on roads, I am a new user and the app is fantastic but the speed limits / warnings are not on all roads - let us Wazers do this for you.
Ex TomTom user of 20+ Years (and got thru appx 6 units....)

Please allow Waze Drivers to accept Multiple Riders at the same time, from same location. now once we accept one Rider we are not able to accept other riders in the same route.Please try to make changes in the app.

When we're rerouted to avoid congestion it would really be helpful to get a brief reason.
When Waze reroutes us to avoid congestion, it would be very helpful if it could briefly announce "rerouting due to congestion" or words to that effect so we'll know that the apparently strange new route isn't the result of an inadvertent electronic "hiccup."

Additional support for Apple Carplay
All the features of Waze are not available in Apple CarPlay... like policeman on other side of road or object in road. Please add all features of Waze to CarPlay.

Speed Limit
I Use Waze in Carplay..The icon to display the speed limit is verry small, why is it not as big as the icon of the current speed. It is very difficult to read when using carplay

Waze Lite - Highway Mode
Mostly you need Waze to make routing decisions. Once you are on a main highway there are no real decisions to be made.
Would be nice to be able to put Waze into a mode that would sleep and only popup say 2km before you need to get off the highway.2 votesBattery Saver mode is a great choice for this purpose.

Allow users to avoid intersections without lights
Giving someone 8 lanes of traffic to try and turn left across during rush hour counteracts any time you’d save by that route being faster. If there is no traffic light map data, allow users to start marking intersections as having traffic lights themselves.
1 vote“Avoid difficult intersections” option is available in Navigation settings. Should ease the issue if not eliminate it.

Auto shut off if left on to save battery
If left on with no significant movement: then ask if still navigating, if no response then exit the app.(Or something similar)
The Idea being to keep it from draining most of the phones battery if put in a pocket (or left somewhere) but fail to close the app.

Supported radio app
Deezer have launched a radio app that I think would be beneficial to make work alongside Waze.
